Stroke Chat Scotland

Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland have introduced a virtual stroke group (Stroke Chat Scotland). It is hosted on the Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland Website and is available to patients and carers.

The purpose of the group is to encourage peer support amongst individuals who have had a stroke, and it has proved particularly popular with people who have aphasia (partial or complete inability to speak in articulated manner and/or comprehend spoken words) who find social conversation difficult.
