Carnoustie Medical Group (CMG), with the Monifieth Medical Group, Friockheim and Arbroath Practices, are in the south locality of Angus Community Health Partnership. We welcome new patients in the area.
Carnoustie Medical Group (CMG) is a well-integrated Primary Care Team that comprises eight partners with their employed, attached and visiting personnel. We are a committed Training Practice of GP registrars, doctors and foundation doctors. Medical and nursing students are also regularly attached to the Group.
We moved to our purpose built centre - Parkview Primary Care Centre - in May 2006. Parkview Primary Care Centre also houses health services such as podiatry, physiotherapy, psychiatry, psychology, dietetics, speech therapy and counselling. We also have a minor injury assessment/treatment service.
The practice is conveniently located on Barry Road, opposite Boots Pharmacy who can fulfill prescriptions issued. Parking is available at the practice.
We are also on a bus route and are within walking distance of the train station. Full details are available on our Location page.
The practice is open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays). Please phone 01241 859888 for appointments or enquiries. We record all incoming and outgoing telephone calls for training and safety purposes.
For medical advice when the surgery is closed please phone NHS 24 on 111.
Extra places have been added to the Pain Association Scotland Self-Management Course taking place at Carnoustie Leisure Centre.
We are experiencing an extremely high number of requests to access a GP at the moment, and unfortunately we will only be able to accommodate URGENT matters at the moment.
