Your Medical Information

Carnoustie Medical Group aims to ensure the highest standard of medical care for our patients. To do this we keep records about you, your health and the care we have provided or plan to provide to you. Our Data Protection Notice provides details of the collection and use of personal information, and you can find out more in the leaflets What is GDPR? and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

Freedom of Information

Carnoustie Medical Group complies with the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 by publishing the Carnoustie Medical Group General Practitioners' Publication Scheme. It is also available on request from Wendi Lees, Practice Manager.

Social Media Policy

Our social media policy explains our approach to the use of Facebook and other social media platforms.

Zero Tolerance Policy

It is important all members of the public and our staff are treated with respect, so we have a Zero Tolerance Policy, whereby aggressive, abusive (including swearing) or violent behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Comments and Complaints

We would like to encourage patients to provide feedback to the practice. We want to hear about your positive experiences and comments so we can feed them back to staff what we do well while also learning from any problems you may have too. Although we aim to provide the highest standard of service possible we may not get it right all the time and there may be occasions when you wish to express dissatisfaction. You can find out more about our procedures for comments and complaints.
