At Carnoustie Medical Group we have 7 GP Partners and 3 Salaried GPs available for consultations.
Dr Roberts is a GP Trainer and is actively involved in the teaching and training of GP learners at every stage. She has a special interest and expertise in child health. She has an interest in women's health and has qualifications in family planning services including coil and contraceptive implant insertion. Dr Roberts is also the practice lead for information technology, immunisations and diabetes.
Dr Lindsey Howe has been a Partner in the Practice since 2007. Dr Howe is an Undergraduate Trainer for the Practice and teaches 4th and 5th year medical students. Dr Howe has a special interest and expertise in family planning and coil and contraceptive implant insertion. Outside of work, Lindsey is a keen skiier and mother of two children.
Dr Khan has been associated with Carnoustie Medical Group since 2006, having joined as a trainee general practitioner and then as a longterm locum. We were delighted when he joined the practice in partnership on 1 January 2011.
Dr Davies joined the practice in 2018. Dr Davies graduated from Aberdeen University in 1984, and has been a GP since 1991. After 13 years as a partner in General Practice he spent 12 years in the RAF so is experienced in military and aviation medicine. He regards himself as a true generalist, but with a specific interest in minor surgery.
Dr Knighton first joined the practice in 2012 as a GP Registrar. She has come back, after a short period of time away, to work with us again. She has a special interest in palliative medicine and paediatric medicine, having recently finished her diploma in child health. Dr Knighton is also involved with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) as first five lead for East Scotland and chair of the RCGP Scotland AiT and First Five committee. In her spare time she helps with a local Brownie Unit, loves to sing and bake, and volunteers each summer with 'Over the wall', a charity which gives kids with serious illness access to free summer camps.
Dr Simpson joined the surgery as a Partner in 2022 having completed her GP Training with us. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, finding the variety a very rewarding part of the job. She jointly leads our MDT meetings, which has sparked an interest in Elderly Care and is also involved with training our Foundation Year 2 Doctor​s during their placement.
Dr Bremner has been working with Carnoustie Medical Group since 2014 as she was our trainee. She joined the practice as a salaried GP in 2022 and became a partner in July 2024.
DR DAVID DAVIES

Dr Davies completed his general practitioner training in Chesterfield 2008, and has been working as a locum or salaried doctor in general practice since then. He joined the practice in October 2012 and has a special interest in sports medicine.
DR ADAM GORRIE
MBCHB Aberdeen 2009, MRCS(ENT), MRCGP
Dr Gorrie graduated from Aberdeen University in 2009. He initially pursued a career in surgery and spent 7 years working in Yorkshire before completing his general practice training in 2017. He maintains an interest in Ear, Nose and Throat. He joined the practice in 2018.
DR PRIYA MARIE SEQUEIRA

Dr Sequeira graduated from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India in 1998 with distinctions in 6 subjects. Her special interests are Women's Health, Medical Education and Problem Drug Use. She pursued a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for around 20 years in India, UAE, Birmingham and Bristol, UK and in Medical Education, University of Bristol, UK as Clinical Teaching Fellow and OSCE Examiner for Year 4 Medical students. She completed her General Practitioner training in Edinburgh and the Borders, Scotland in 2024. She joined our practice in 2025.
