PARTNERS

Dr Elaine McNaughton
DR ELAINE MCNAUGHTON MBCHB DUNDEE 1981, FRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH

Dr McNaughton has been a GP Partner in the practice for more than 30 years. She is currently Deputy Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners Scotland, and an elected member of the college UK Council. She is a GP Trainer in the practice and previous Programme Director for the Eastward GP Specialty Training Programme. She is Associate Adviser for General Practice for NHS Education Scotland and is the GP Careers Advisor. Dr McNaughton is the practice Quality Lead and joint Cluster lead for the South West Angus locality. She values the importance of being an experienced generalist clinician but has also developed her expertise in women's health.

Dr Lynda Morton
DR LYNDA J. MORTON MBCHB ABERDEEN 1982
   

Dr Morton has a special interest in alternative medicine, child and women's health and family planning. Dr Morton is the clinical lead in the practice for mental health, dementia and depression.

Dr Laura Roberts
DR LAURA ROBERTS MBCHB DUNDEE 1998, FRCGP, DFSRH

Dr Roberts is a GP Trainer and is actively involved in the teaching and training of GP learners at every stage. She has a special interest and expertise in child health. She has an interest in women's health and has qualifications in family planning services including coil and contraceptive implant insertion. Dr Roberts is also the practice lead for information technology, immunisations and diabetes.

Dr Stephen Galbraith
DR STEPHEN GALBRAITH MBCHB DUNDEE 1991, MRCGP, DRCOG
   

Dr Galbraith is a GP Trainer and is actively involved in teaching and training of GP learners at every level. Dr Galbraith is clinical lead in the practice for hypertension and chronic kidney disease. He has a special interest in sports medicine and joint injection.

 
Dr Lindsey Howe
DR LINDSEY HOWE MBCHB DUNDEE 2003, MRCGP (with Distinction), DRCOG, DFSRH

Dr Lindsey Howe has been a Partner in the Practice since 2007. Dr Howe is an Undergraduate Trainer for the Practice and teaches 4th and 5th year medical students. Dr Howe has a special interest and expertise in family planning and coil and contraceptive implant insertion. Outside of work, Lindsey is a keen skiier and mother of two children.

Dr Taimur Khan
DR TAIMUR KHAN MBBS KARACHI 2002; MRCGP 2009
   

Dr Khan has been associated with Carnoustie Medical Group since 2006, having joined as a trainee general practitioner and then as a longterm locum. We were delighted when he joined the practice in partnership on 1 January 2011.

Dr John Bowbeer

Dr Bowbeer joined us in 2017 from a training practice in Ayrshire where he was a partner for 26 years. Dr Bowbeer has interests in musculoskeletal medicine, mental health and cardiovascular disease.

Dr David Davies DR DAVID DAVIES MBCHB WARWICK 2004, BSC (HONS) CARDIFF 1999

Dr Davies completed his general practitioner training in Chesterfield 2008 working as a locum or salaried doctor in general practice since then. He joined the practice on 1 October 2012 and has a special interest in sports medicine.

Dr Amy Knighton DR AMY KNIGHTON MBCHB DUNDEE 2010, MRCGP, DCH, BSC (HONS) 2005

Dr Knighton first joined the practice in 2012 as a GP Registrar. She has come back, after a short period of time away, to work with us again. She has a special interest in palliative medicine and paediatric medicine, having recently finished her diploma in child health. Dr Knighton is also involved with the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) as first five lead for East Scotland and chair of the RCGP Scotland AiT and First Five committee. In her spare time she helps with a local Brownie Unit, loves to sing and bake, and volunteers each summer with 'Over the wall', a charity which gives kids with serious illness access to free summer camps.
