Dementia Awareness Session

To promote Dementia Awareness Week, there will be an awareness session held at:

The Kinloch Care Centre
Kinloch Street
Carnoustie
DD7 7EN

on Monday 4th June from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

Please come along for a cuppy and a blether with Occupational Therapy, Police Scotland, Angus Care and Repair, Football Action and Golf Memories Groups and Poppins Music Cafe amongst others so that we can provide you with information and advice and help you to find the support that you may need.

Some of the areas of information, advice and help include:

• Power of Attorney
• Financial scams
• Welfare guardianship
• Adult support and protection

Dementia Awareness Week is an intiative running from 4-10 June and focuses on making sure nobody faces dementia alone. You can find out more about other local events on the Dementia Awareness Week website.
