Job Vacancy: Trainee Practice Nurse
Are you a competent, hard working nurse who is looking for a new challenge?
We are a friendly, hardworking dynamic team who are looking for an experienced, registered nurse to train as a practice nurse. We are a large training practice in the heart of Carnoustie located in purpose built facilities which we share with other NHS disciplines.
Ideally you will be at least 4 years post registration and have some experience of venepuncture and autonomous working. You must be willing to undertake the Practice Nurse NES course as well as other relevant courses during your first 2 years with us. You will also be required to participate in continued learning throughout your employment. We also welcome applicants who may already be a Practice Nurse but require further training in chronic disease management.
This is a training post and will require you to carry out some study in your own time. As a practice we will support and fund your training and allow you time within working hours to attend training sessions.
We offer a competitive salary, which will rise on completion of the course, 25 days annual leave plus 10 set public holidays (both pro rata), entry into the NHS pension scheme, an inclusive and friendly working environment as well as the opportunity to grow through training and mentoring from our clinical team. Working hours are negotiable between 30 – 37.5 per week with days to be agreed.
