Fixed term post - 30 hours per week
We are seeking to recruit a medical receptionist to join our friendly, hardworking team. We work in a busy, emotive environment where resilience and a good sense of humour are essential. This is a fixed term post of 1 year to cover a maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be required to competently perform a broad range of reception and telephone duties in support of the Group Doctors and staff in their delivery of high quality family oriented healthcare.
Applicants should be highly motivated, organised and enjoy contact with the public. You should also be a good communicator who is comfortable using the telephone and IT applications.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 12 noon - 6pm. A degree of flexibility is required to cover team absences. Experience in a customer facing role is desirable however full training will be given. We are looking for the successful candidate to be able to start early July 2024. We offer a supportive environment with 25 days annual leave and 10 public holidays (pro rata) per year. Salary starts at £11.45 per hour rising to £12 after 2 years of service. We also offer an NHS pension scheme which gives a generous employer contribution.
